CAREER PROFESSIONALS & OPPORTUNITIES

We pride ourselves on a long history of volunteer and career staff working together. We have found institutional strength in hiring career staff who are receptive to training both those who are volunteers and also for the many training centers that send their students to Narberth to learn from our providers. Crews are comprised of volunteers and career staff who are professional, well-trained, and certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Paramedics and EMTs at Narberth are trained to meet the needs of patients with medical and trauma emergencies. They respond daily to residents, nursing homes, schools, restaurants, stores, and dangerous roadways like the Schuylkill Expressway and Blue Route.

The combined years of experience of the career and volunteer staff make them ready to respond to any emergency, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Narberth hosts many training events over the year with speakers from around the area. In 2022, over 1000 hours of continuing education were offered in-station. Some classes are open to area EMS providers, while others are designed solely for our clinical providers.
